Sarah Palin dines with Rev. Billy Graham in NC
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) _ Sarah Palin has shared dinner with the Rev. Billy Graham. The meeting happened a day before Palin’s planned book tour stop in North Carolina.
The former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee flew into Asheville and then went to Billy Graham’s mountaintop home in nearby Montreat for dinner. That’s according to a spokesman for Franklin Graham, who invited Palin. The spokesman spoke with The Charlotte Observer.
Franklin Graham met Palin earlier this year in Alaska when his relief agency, Samaritan’s Purse, delivered groceries to Alaskan families who had been hit by a harsh winter in villages along the frozen Yukon River.
