Live the Promise – Program Schedule

Live the Promise goes LIVE weekdays!
Listen to Live the Promise LIVE every weekday from 3:00 – 4:00 pm and every Saturday, from noon to 1:00.
Amidst our fast-paced culture and surrounded by so much watered down theology, do you crave some deep spiritual dialogue based on the Word of God? Do you long to hear from those who are working on the spiritual front lines? I want to connect with you!
My vision for Live the Promise is to offer a show that is rich in content and that is biblically grounded. Each program has its own Scriptural theme around which the interviews and discussions are based. My guests will include Christian recording artists, authors, pastors, and those involved in Para church ministries. Together, we will dialogue on what it means to walk out our faith in a tangible, effective way.
Part of what makes Live the Promise unique is the online community where we can continue our discussions and share our powerful testimonies. I’ll share daily thoughts, prayers and quotes on this page. And I want to hear from YOU as well! Tell me what God is doing in your life. How is He speaking to you these days?. We just may read your comments on the air.
I look forward to engaging with you on this journey that we might walk out our faith in a strong and active way!
God bless you,
Susie Larson
Bringing 20-Somethings Back into Faith
Many people are talking about how to reach the millennial generation and bring them back to the church. But how many people are talking to them? Today Susie is joined by author Drew Dyck, who’s done substantial research on the topic and spoken to the youth themselves. They’ll unpack their own faith journeys, as well [...]
The Whole-Hearted Marriage
Today Susie welcomes back Focus on the Family’s Greg Smalley. They discuss how to be “whole-hearted” in our response to our families and spouses! Greg’s book is The Whole-Hearted Marriage.
The Sustaining Power of God
When we turn our lives over to God, He develops gifts and brings us to places we don’t expect. Today on Live the Promise, Susie is joined by fellow author and speaker Dee Brestin. Dee will share her faith journey and talk about the challenges of losing a spouse, as well as her thriving prison [...]
The Ministry of Music
God speaks to us in many ways in our different seasons of life. Apart from Scripture, one of His most intimate and powerful tools is music. Today on Live the Promise, Susie’s guest is you! We take your calls and explore the songs God is using to speak to us. It’s an hour of music [...]
Plan for Eternity
Is this all you’re living for? For years, Pastor Paul Tripp understood we were ‘hardwired for forever.’ But he didn’t understand that it was more than a valuable insight. It is a practical tool to help us face the disappointment of everyday life. Today he and Susie will dive into surviving and thriving in the [...]
Un-Planned: From Planned Parenthood to Pro-Life
Abby Johnson quit her job in October 2009. That simple act became a national news story because Abby was the director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas. After participating in her first actual abortion procedure, Abby walked across the road to join the Coalition for Life. Today she joins Susie for an eye-opening discussion on [...]
Ministering to Muslim Women
Audra Grace Shelby joins Susie Larson to share her story in ministering to women in the country of Yemen.
Intimacy With God
Our calling as a child of God is not wrapped up in rituals. It’s not a checklist of “spiritual” things that we complete, and living the Christian life that way leaves us feeling just as empty as before. So what does walking with God look like? How can we be intimate with Him? Today Susie [...]
What God Thinks When We Fail
We’ve all had those face-in-the-dirt experiences when things fall apart, relationships end, and we’re left wondering what does my Father think? When we make poor choices that send our lives or finances into a ditch, does God stand by with a disapproving look? Or does He lean in, lift us up again, and keep loving [...]
