Kidnapped Missionary Continues to Pray for Abductors

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) _ A missionary doctor who was kidnapped and ransomed this month in Nigeria says he prays for his abductors.
Dr. Robert Whittaker, a 62-year-old surgeon, is recovering in Tennessee from an arm wound suffered when he was shot Aug. 2 at his Nigerian home.



Driver dies from crash with MercyMe tour bus

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) _ An 18-year-old who lost her unborn child when her car collided with the tour bus for the Christian band MercyMe has died from her injuries.
Police in Fort Wayne, Ind., say Kara Klinker, who had been in critical condition since the crash early Saturday, died Tuesday. Klinker was 35 weeks pregnant.
