Excellent discussion with Nancy Pearcey. Nancy did an excellent job articulating the cutting edge issues that are reverberating throughout society regarding the sanctitiy of human life and the need to defend and protect it. This topic will need to be dealt with by anyone who's nearing death and relying on their health care provider to honor their wishes regarding life-saving procedures for themselves, their unborn baby and dependent loved ones and friends who are unable to articulate their wishes to live inspite of their disabilities.

From anonymous (please)--

Jim Beilby has been a teacher for adult Sunday School at our church, and we are grateful for him! His dedication to apologetics has helped encourage us to be more diligent in this area.

I have a sixteen-year-old child who is struggling right now with "religion." She tells us that she is a "question mark" when it comes to her relationship with Jesus. Her dad and I asked if we could suggest books to read, and she said, "no." What can we do as parents to help her "find [her] own way" at this troubling disclosure? She attends youth group and likes to work at Bible camp, but her life doesn't reflect what we have taught her.

Okay, Jennifer, this has got to stop! ;-) I just watched that video on your blog and cried, and now I've just read this and cried. You have certainly touched a nerve or two with both of theses posts. As always, such beautiful writing. You get to the CORE every time.

I grew up knowing more negeative than postive, and as I have gotten older I can see now, I went after what I only knew. I did seek God to give me strength and knowledge, and he is a BIG part of MY LIFE. In the many trials God has placed in front of me, I have learned so much from his challenges for me, are true testimonies to bring me closer and need him. Like Margaret’s jouney of the unknown, I did this in my life. Half my life has passed, many wonderful friendships through Christ, I am a single mom of two adult children and now a Grandma with a blessed granddaughter, "God loves me" is more clearly now. When I mess up I may be up to my neck in hurt, pain and troubles, but hearing today's message affirms God's Love is always there from me. Like Suzi says at the end of her show: last long, finish strong. Thanks for the encouragement I needed this today and everyday! KJ
